As you can see by these Halloween pictures, those little princesses and witches have turned into something older and more sophisticated!

COOL PICS, VEEFLOWER!! THANKS FOR POSTING THEM. I WAS HANDING OUT CANDY TO ALL THE CREATURES THAT SHOWED UP HERE. THERE WERE LOTS OF SPIDER-KIDS (SORRY HOMER, NO SPIDER-PIGS) AND SUCH. IT WAS A WONDERFUL NIGHT.
I am sorry I couldn't find my camera when some Squires showed up with Jesse and kids. I went with them around our neighborhood and even though there are many blocks of some 8 houses per block nicely spaced, not many porch lights were on this year. Hard to say if it was economic troubles or what. One neighbor I know felt uncomfortable about the bigger kids that came to her door last year, and another told me there have been a lot of elderly people who passed away and new people moving in. Some don't like it that a more disadvantaged population of children from neighborhoods where you don't trick or treat come here to get candy. I say bring 'em on, you're only young once and this holiday is for all kids. Hope things are better next year.
Wow, what a bunch of cute kids, eh? By the way, who's that fat old lady in the pics? Oh, is that me? Why, glory bee, but I don't appear to be aging well. Where's my scented hanky, I think I may faint....
I thought you looked mighty fine a sittin' thar...handing out candy to the cute neighbor kids while your kids were having a blast...the hat gave your handouts so much more flair...and when those "80's ladies" walked up to you and you said, "So you guys decided not to wear a costume" (or words to that effect) I thought I would split a gut.
Chantze, I tried to get to your blog, but for some reason it wouldn't work. Are you sure the blog address is correct? When I do a google search, all I get is eatCAST.blogspot.com and unless you are a cynically sophisticated writer of a Neil saga using words like "sou," I don't think that was your blog.
